1. Education: CPA/CIA
2. Experience: 2 years’ experience as an auditor
3. Exposure to Risk Management and Sustainability is a big plus.
4. Analytical Skills: Capable of identifying issues and developing effective solutions to mitigate or manage risks.
5. Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial in this role. Auditors must be able to clearly convey their findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders. They may also need to write reports and documentation.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Has knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements. This may include understanding financial regulations, data privacy laws and sustainability.
7. Teamwork: Collaboration with various departments and teams within the organization is often necessary to implement audit strategies effectively. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential.
8. Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and respond to new industry trends is important.
