Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers and design teams to understand business processes and requirements, providing solution recommendations, and creating design specifications.
• Transform business requirements into high-quality functional designs within agreed timeframes.
• Assist in creating system/integration test plans, executing functional testing, and providing end-user training.
• Work closely with the Development Team to discuss and refine functional requirements and design solutions.
• Help resolve any design issues that arise during the development process.
• Ensure the quality of your work and that of the project team by adhering to project standards and methodologies.
• Occasionally travel to project locations as needed.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of IT consulting, business process re-engineering, systems design, and development.
• 3-8 years' Hands-on experience with Java SE, SQL, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Principles and Design.
• Experience in gathering and documenting system requirements and writing functional specifications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build good relationships with team members and clients.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Preferred experience in Java Servlets and JSP, WebLogic administration, web services (REST/SOAP), JMS, Oracle DB performance tuning, or PL/SQL.
