The responsibilities of a Corporate Lawyer are outlined but not limited to the following:

• To develop and execute the organization's legal strategy, manage legal risks, oversee contract negotiations, and advise on corporate governance
• Leading the legal department, providing strategic legal advice to senior management, and directing programs, policies, and practices to ensure all business units follow regulations
• The VP for Legal tracks relevant laws, implements necessary changes, and focuses on team productivity, process efficiency, quality service delivery, and team capability development by effectively managing the Legal Team and resources to exceed customer expectations

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Lawyer
• Minimum 2 years work experience in the related field is required for this position
• Experience in the field must include exposure to Common Law, Due Diligence, and Corporate.
• At least 5 years of work experience in a management role, with proficiency in Problem Solving, Project and People Management
• Good attention to details, articulate, analytical, good planning and problem-solving skills and able to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills & Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work with minimum supervision
• Capable to work within tight deadlines and ability to arrange timeline properly
• Excellent knowledge of wide range of legal issues
• Very good understanding of legal issues
• Ability to develop legal strategy and objectives
• Ability to predict and prevent legal issues and risks
• Strong moral and ethical principles
